Terms & Conditions

Before making a reservation with Komodo Vista Tour, we encourage you to read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they constitute a contract agreement between Komodo Vista Tour and you from the time the booking is made. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all the people in the group and is responsible for all payment due.

A. General

  • Before making a reservation, please ask our customer service for schedule and cabin availability.
  • Make sure you have read all descriptions and tour details in our catalogue before making a reservation.
  • If you want to see pictures of the boat, our customer service will send you the boat pictures for your trip before making a reservation.
  • If the reserved boat has any issues with the engine or other parts, we will inform you and offer you the same type of boat, based on the price paid to us.
  • Not recommended for pregnant women, infants (0-2 years old), and people who are prone to seasickness.
  • ID Card Number and/or Valid passport number are required to make clearance pass documents to the harbor master.
  • The cabin room for Open Trip is arranged according to the order of the clients’ reservations.
  • Each participant agrees to be recorded and photographed during the trip, and we have the right to use these for social media content for the promotion of trips.

B. Deposit and Cancellation

  • Deposit for booking the trip is 30% for both private trips and open trips, from the total price and is non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable under any circumstance.
  • The rest of the payment should be made 7 days before the trip departure.
  • Cancellation due to Force Majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations, and other coercive conditions), the trip can be changed or canceled, and there is no refund to participants for facilities that are not used or any losses/inconvenience to the organizer. (Force Majeure: an event that occurs beyond human ability and cannot be avoided so that an activity cannot be carried out properly).
  • Rescheduling can only be done once and no later than 1 month before the initial schedule.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a trip for other unavoidable reasons (such as Engine Problems, etc.) and will inform the customer at the earliest possible date. We shall arrange a replacement boat as an alternative solution based on the price paid to us. If we fail to provide the replacement as agreed, we will fully refund the payment we have received.

C. Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for loss/damage to trip facilities such as life jackets, snorkels, masks, and will be charged according to the price of the item.
  • Participants must obey the tour leader during the trip and cannot make unilateral decisions in any form without our consent.
  • If there are participants who bring illegal drugs or cause disturbances that inconvenience other participants during the trip, we have the right to expel/repatiate the participant without any refunds that have been paid.

D. Delay or Absence

  • If the participant arrives late or is absent on the day of departure for any reason, the entire travel package is non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.
  • If the participant fails to comply with the guide’s instructions to gather at the meeting point on time during the trip, the participant will be responsible for any additional costs and incurred damage.
  • We disclaim any responsibility for the consequences caused by participants if they withdraw from the group during the trip.
  • If the participant does not show up at the agreed place and time of meet-up during the trip, the participant will be responsible for any additional costs, and the missed itinerary cannot be recourse or refunded.
